As I attended the very first dog show in my life over 30 years ago I was there alone. My cousin had a confirmation party and my parents left me to dog show alone with my very first lowchen Diana. My father had a friend that he knew from his childhood that owned and bred kingcharlespaniels.

Mrs. Raija Tuomola had kingcharles from Dr. Annukka Paloheimo from her Anncourt kennel. My father made arrangements that Raija would help me out in my very first dogshow. Raija was a wonderful lady that helped me during that day. She had with her kingcharlesspaniel bitch that I fell in love during that spring day 1981.

Int & Multi Ch Anncourt Kira-Sheeba was a blenheim bitch that had
character to die for. She was also beautiful example of the breed. I fell in love totally with this strange and unique breed after learning to know Kira-Sheeba.

Few years later I decided that I want to have kingcharlesspaniel myself. I wanted to have blenheim coloured charlie like Kira-Sheeba had been. I admired English breeder Alicia Pennington a lot. I saw some of her dogs at Crufts early 1980´s at Earls Court at Crufts Dog show. My alltime favourite Kira-Sheeba sire was Int Ch Tudorhurst Trojan Warrior and he was also bred by Mrs. Pennington. So my very first charlie was a blenheim male imported from England from mrs. Pennington. He was BISS & BIG-winning Int & Multi Ch, FinW-92-93-94-95 Tudorhurst Sir Harry born 1989 and imported to Finland early 1990. He was top winner in early 1990´s. I loved this dog so much and he had personality to die for.

Unfortunately he was almost sterile and did not produce whole lot. After all his matings he only produced one puppy.

Later I decided to import another charlie. She was superior female but had healthy issues and she died far too early. I did not get over this easily and it took me several years before I was ready to take another charlie. I admired great female BISS GB Ch Tucherish Florence alot. As she was mated with Maibee Domingo by Mrs. J. Coupland in Scotland she promised me the natural short tailed female from this litter. She was to become my foundation bitch Int & Multi Ch Tucherish Crystal Kisses born 2002. I love this adorable personality and she is the queen of the house. She lives her life next to me and sleep her nights in my pillow. She is truly classical and true charlie that I love more than anything.

I mated Crystal with stunning blenheim male Int & Multi Ch Contrariwise Cafe Au Lait. His sire was American imported female that I liked a lot. This American import female was mated in France and this unique litter produced Cafe Au Lait that lived near me with my friend Susanne Moilanen kennel Contrariwise. This combination was out cross litter that produced all champion litter. Female BISS Int & Fin & S & N & DK & Est Ch WW-10 Chic Choix Amber Lee Evans has been legendary winner and she is charlie to die for with every detail.

Later we imported another female from Mrs. J. Coupland and this girl
became Int & Multi Ch Tucherish Crysandra. She was bred to American import Windsor Bit O Magic O Royalist and that produced Fin Ch Chic Choix Dear Desdemona. We mated legendary Multi Ch Chic Choix Amber Lee Evans with same male and we got Multi Ch Chic Choix Dear Claudette.

“SANDRA” showing

Mrs. Marja Kurittu imported stunning male from UK namely Int & GB & Multi Ch marsward My Mate Marchog from England. His son Int Ch Rossbell King Lear mated Desdemona and from that breeding we have top promising male growing up Chic Choix Lord Greystoke aka Tarzan.

We also imported some new blood from UK namely very nice female Othmese Voulez-Vous who is daughter of GB Ch Amantra Chaffeur. She was bred to Int & Multi Ch Marsward My Mate Marchog. We hope to have something very special from this breeding. Earlier 2010 we mated Int Ch Tucherish Crysandra for second time and we used young male Lacy´s Kind of Magic who is son of GB Ch Tucherish Mark Anthony. This litter produced two nice girls and at home we have Chic Choix Florabella Evans.

We love this unique breed and we breed litter every now and then from our top winning females. This breed is so unique and we want to protect this breed every way possible. We love these unique dogs so much.
