Unique lhasa apso puppies born from our Barbo bitchline

One of our important goals with lhasa apsos has been to save different valuable bitchlines of our breed.  This will also produce genetic diversity in our beloved breed as these lines are mixed with ours. One of the bitchlines we feel is worth saving is Barbara & Bob Prenger Barbo bitchline from America. These dogs are known for their flashy particolours, nice propotions and expectational heads.  We imported two lhasas from Prengers. We did continue the breeding with Barbo´s Annie Oakley O´Chic Choix. Her daughters and children have been important part of our lhasas in past decade. Barbo line seems to fix perfectly with our original line.  These both lines have strong Abbotsford influence. Annie Oakley was mated with Fin Ch Chic Choix Majestic Parti (Multi BIS & BISS Int & Am & Multi Ch Barjea Mai Ling Panda x Fin Ch Chic Choix Stars Over Tara).  This beautiful litter produced superior particolour female BEST in SHOW-winning Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Parti Princess aka Mariel and two great Champion brothers. Now it is time to continue with one and only Mariel.

Mother of the babies BEST in SHOW-winning Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Parti Princess with her talented owner & handler Triin Vasemägi.

We couldn´t wait finally to breed precious Mariel. She is one of the only modern particolour BIS winning females as she is so very correct all over. She is what Barbo was about in heads. She has ideal lenght of head, moderate stop and percect lhasa apso eyes in her perfect lhasa apso skull. That is too rare to see now-a-days as shih tzy type short head is taking over. This is often specially the case with particolours. Mariel has also perfect front and 100 % straight front legs. She is also very correct and happy mover.Mariel has also 100 % perfect coat texture which is another of her qualities we respect highly. Icing of the cake is that out treasure BEST in SHOW-winning Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Parti Princess has perfect intelligent and truly noble lhasa apso temperament. We are very worried about it. As it often seems silly tail waggers are taking over our beloved breed.

The choice for Mariel was very easy. We want to save all her unique qualities. BISS Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Parti Alexander (BISS Int & GB & Multi Ch Kutani Reckless x BISS Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Surprise Parti) has been exordinary stud dog. His best and most influencal litter has been litter that produced Multi BIS & BISS Int & Multi Ch WW 2012-2013-2014-2015 and 2016 Chic Choix Cleopatra Eurydice, BIS & BISS Int & Multi Ch WW-2013 Chic Choix Alexander The Great and Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Roxana at Tza-Ma.

Mariel was like all the girls in her pedigree and she gave a birth easily 5 strong and vital puppies. There was 1 male (golden with white markings) and 4 females (2 x parti colour white & gold and 2 x golden with white markings). We are so very proud to carry on this unique bitchline known for vitality, heads, movements and great coat textures & colours.
